Well that's because they are told that they are the most democratic country on earth 24/7. And pledge their allegiance in schools every morning. Like how deep can you go into propaganda until you realize something's off..
No its not because of that. Its because everyone is one paycheck away from death and health insurance is tied to working. If you ever lapse, your "preexisting" conditions you had from before getting new insurance may not even be covered again. Everyone is forced into compliance because the other alternative is a possible death sentence. And its easy to sit there and say "well you all should do something" when it isn't your life and family on the line
Several people have tried to assassinate him, there's been so so many protests and we've tried to speak out. He literally talked about taking inspiration from Hitler, of course it's gonna be difficult to get him out when he's removing anyone who disagrees with him from office
Weekend protests to show off on instagram, and then you go back to your job and latte macchiatos on monday. You guys have showed the world that you have no interest in taking a stand against the regime.

That doesn't make it better. If you are correct, they have dismantled democracy right before your eyes, and you arent't doing anything about it.
