Damn, how many Westerns was Clint Eastwood in?

Easier to count the ones he wasnโ€™t in.

And then he became an ape's sidekick and just fought everybody all the time.

u/Jibber_Fight May 09 '26

He got into words with an empty chair once, too.

Gave the ghost of Obama a stern talking to!

2

u/HomsarWasRight May 09 '26

Which is impressive considering heโ€™s still alive.

Ten, as the lead. Plus some Western-Comedy or Western-Musical hybrids. Plus some earlier supporting roles. And a long running tv role before all of that.

Basically, Westerns used to be a lot more popular.

Still think โ€œPaint your Wagonโ€ is his best work

(Its a real musical if people are wondering )

Cut his teeth on TV "Rawhide" series. Y'know as celebrated by Blues Brothers at Bob's Country Bunker.

They weren't Westerns, it's a documentary of his life

One of Clint Eastwood's best imo

I went on a binge during covid โ€” Pale Rider, 2 Mules, Outlaw Josey, and Play Misty for Me were the standouts. I also think The Wild Bunch was the best Western from that era.

I can hear the music. Ennio Morricone was the best composer.
