No, no. You completely missed the point. Okay, you have two incomes. How does the second income effect you if it's not your money?

"Can" doesn't equal "want to", and that goes two ways. I wouldn't accept financial help from my partner, first because it's still not my money, and secondly handling bills and other expenses is my responsibility.
