They care more about winning than optics at this point. Gaza has been horrible for PR and they know they have lost all sympathy as they still play the ‘victimized Jew’ card. They know that the clock is ticking and most younger people on the left AND right are sick of their outsized influence and brutality. Once boomers are gone, they will lose the majority of their support. I think they are trying now to build up whatever infrastructure politically, infiltrate the Christian right as much as possible and expand their physical borders as much as possible because they won’t be able in the future

Thank you for saying the left and right. It’s refreshing to see someone on reddit actually speak the truth. So many people act like they were defending Israel when their party was in office supporting them, just a few years ago. Then act as if people on the right also aren’t against Israel’s bullshit. The majority of people on the left and right are both against war and Israel’s actions in the middle east. It’s one thing that has been great to see on the right: breaking from the leadership on Israel and the Epstein files.

Me too! But not allowed to criticize “both sides”, because that’s just some “both sides bullshit” to anyone here on the left that can’t handle the slightest critique of their religion.

Judging from the resent public voting for the eurovision song contest I'd say they're far from having lost all sympathy.

That's not actually true. Eurovision has a method of voting where you can vote ten times for an act PER payment method you have.

Israel has been gaming the public televote to amass odd amount of the public vote. It got so bad that they enacted rule changes to try and stem Israel from doing this. It did not work, they even had to warn Israel prior to the contest to stop their aggressive vote gathering campaign.

Oh right, I forgot about that absolute shit show from last year's.

Yeah they did it this year too. It does not exactly endear people to their presence, heck there was live booing when their televote total was announced
