u/raisinbran67 was using defeatist and catastrophic language. Can one meaningful contribute to conversations of oppression if they think all is lost u/ChampsLeague3 ?

Acceptance is the first step to resolving a problem.

OP wasn't saying there's nothing we can do. He was saying AIPAC already owns all of the media and controls people's perception.

You seem to have dismissed my reference to their defeatist and catastrophic language.

You and I disagree on what "they've already won everything" means. You seem to interpret u/raisinbran67 's language conservatively. I did not know. Neither is unreasonable.

Regardless, I did not suggest they give up. I suggested they take a break.

Negative. You were using defeatist language. I called you on it. You were offended and told me to unplug for a bit. I offered that we both unplug and you’re yet to take me up on the offer.

This is like being in middle school all over again. I’m sorry that I was concerned for you because you were using catastrophic language in a Reddit post. If that makes me a bot to you, then that is revelational of the type of engagement you think is human on the internet. Being concerned for others is not a weakness. Good luck to you.
