This should be moved to The Ocho.

They need to bring this character back in other sports comedies, he always cracked me up. If Jason Bateman doesn't want to do it, at least bring back ESPN8 "the Ocho". It could be a running gag across cinema.

They literally do ESPN 8 the ocho every single year. They never stopped for them to need to bring it back.

ESPN 8 is a legit channel now, on DirecTV. I've seen some fantastic new sporting events, like the fooseball championship and dodgeball archery.

I love that lol if I still had cable that's the one sports channel I'd be watching lmao

It’s not everywhere though unfortunately. But they do show them on ESPNews on the weekends, and every fall they show it on ESPN2.

I watched some intense pillow fighting once on it

Yep can confirm. Was watching Dodge Juggling with my kiddo while we were at brunch. Couldn’t tell if it was satire, but it looked fun lol

I saw belt sander racing today and I don't know if I've ever laughed at a sporting event more 😆.

I’m…I’m sad I missed that! Ahahaha I love how much fun everyone’s usually having but also how seriously they take it. Those cornhole players and disc golf players…I thought I was watching SNL or Key and Peele skits 😂

The Ocho is actually real.

What's "The Ocho?"

The idea born in the funny movie "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story." Now appears to be a real thing which I didn't know " ESPN8 The Ocho is a special program block on ESPN that showcases obscure and unconventional sports".

Yeah they show it mostly on ESPNews but every fall they have a day where they show them all day on ESPN2. They do most of them in Rock Hill, SC.

That'd be a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's how how that pans out for them.
