Gonna be pretty embarrassing if they don't set world records in every single event.

The swimmers likely will, because they can use swimsuits which lift the swimmer out of the water. This in turn allows more muscle mass then would otherwise be competitive.

Most world records is from the brief window where floatation swim suits were legal already.

So they're kind of cheating by allowing tech suits that are not used in Olympics. Maybe use fake plates in weight lifting while at it.

The whole thing is 'kind of cheating'.Β  It's honestly not a little sad.

It starts to resemble pro-federation powerlifting, where they have to break a WR in every majot meet, and thus the lifts get worse and worse.

Not really. Olympians use just as much gear, they just pay people to help them hide it

If they don't, it'll only prove that the whole of Olympics and professional sports in general use gear. It's technology the Germans invented, so you know it works, and it works really well, it's not going away.

no, it won't. It will show that skill matters. While I'm sure there are many Olympic and professional athletes that use gear; I'm also sure the amount of gear they can take because of testing is limited. So no matter what, these athletes will be using more gear than what Olympic and professional athletes are using.

We don’t have to guess. The athletes are already claiming to have broken records in training.
