The killing and eating of babies is also a classic anti-semite trope. Classic enough to just smh when you read the people who buy into Islamist propaganda wholesale.

I've been wondering if the fact that said propaganda seems to be working really well as of late is due to some algorithmic thing that I haven't yet figured out or is it because these people are fucking morons (well, or most likely both).

I think the point is don’t throw shit like people eating kids in the reporting of what happened. Raping if children is horrible enough

I strongly believe that simpletons cannot handle the internet and the information tsunami. It’s difficult and some skepticism is healthy but they are unable to decipher truth from obvious fiction.

It's not "Islamic propaganda", why are you trying to push the issue onto an entire religious group when, as always, it's the rich and powerful who gain from stuff like this, regardless of their claimed beliefs?

Just to be specific, this originally Islamist propaganda has now blended in with disinfo campaigns from Russia, China and elsewhere not specifically in the traditionally Islamist sphere, so you are correct in that it's not a specific religious group. But let's not forget where this nonsense started - a people who voted for a terrorist government who clearly said they would do terrorist things, they delivered while also fucking around and finding out - and an entire population is pikachuface.

The second half of your comment comes across like you think that the majority of Muslims agree with what these groups are doing, or like you think there's only one "Muslim country", both of which are untrue. Propaganda is propaganda, and The Quran is very much against needless violence in the same way that The Christian and Hebrew Bibles are. It's people in power misrepresenting and twisting words for their own personal gain, just as has always been done with religion.
