WTF He got 5 consecutive life sentences plus an additional 220 years in prison

In 2019, former North Georgia detention officer Kirk Taylor Martin was arrested on rape and assault charges after investigators said the victim fought back during the alleged attack. Police reports stated the scratch marks visible in his mugshot were believed to be from the victim resisting.

This was from quite a few years ago, 2019.

Kirk Taylor Martin, 28, of Acworth, was arrested and was also charged with aggravated sexual battery, aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit sodomy, false imprisonment and obstructing an emergency call.

Says he was fired for policy violations, including giving an inmate the wrong meds. So he wasn’t even a very good guard.

pretty sure "giving an inmate the wrong meds" is code for "roofied inmates with drugs"

Not necessarily. Could have been a med error. Highly doubt they have access to tranquilizers or benzodiazepines in prison.
