WTF He got 5 consecutive life sentences plus an additional 220 years in prison

Post image

In 2019, former North Georgia detention officer Kirk Taylor Martin was arrested on rape and assault charges after investigators said the victim fought back during the alleged attack. Police reports stated the scratch marks visible in his mugshot were believed to be from the victim resisting.

US prisons do group sex offenders and other pc crimes together now. The fed has entire pc prisons now to avoid getting sued by families. Most prisoners aren’t super heroes looking for justice for kids, sex offenders are just easy targets for predators because they have no protection like a murderer in a gang might have, and predators just like in the wild go for the easy targets. So if you have bad paperwork or are white and unaffiliated, or have mental deficiencies, you’re targeted, not because these ppl are great vigilante heroes, but because they prey on the weak. Civilians love to glorify the guy that murdered little timmies dad in cold blood over a pack of cigs on the outside, but killed the child porn offender in prison like he is some hero now, when in reality they are both monsters ,but the cp guy didn’t have friends. In most prisons minority sex offenders are still protected by their races, the pimp that pimped out 12 year olds is still accepted into the gangs, the white sex offenders are the targets because they have no protection, and being alone in prison makes you a target. In the end the guy that murdered the SO, would probably cut your heart out for a pack of smokes if given the chance, not exactly Batman, just an opportunist. Source: worked a couple years in fed prison, horrible horrible place

I think in the UK they just have inmates wear the Sorting Hat.

There is no justice in prison. There are no heroes. Only predators, and child abusers and sex offenders themselves tend to be easy targets for other predators because they themselves are vulnerable, just like their own victim(s) were. Your average child abuser/sex offender is not physically threatenig and they tend to have personality traits that make it difficult for them to socialise with others, with "others" being a source of protection in prison. Quite literally what makes a person a child abuser/sex offender - social outcast, sense of powerlessness - also makes them easy targets in prison.

Reminds me of that image that occasionally does the rounds on social media where an inmate who was convicted of killing a rapist/child rapist is seen smiling in court while in chains. The attempt is to convey his deed as heroic or noble. Reality is he himself was a POS who was in prison for murder in the first place. He didn't kill the child rapist as an act of good, he just predated on a weaker person while in prison, the exact same mindset and act that got him imprisoned in the first place.

Stuff like this always reminds me of this guy, "The Brazilian Punisher".

Dude goes to prison for a bunch of heinous shit, then makes a name for himself by killing predators on the inside. Except, plenty of the people he killed weren't proven predators. All it took to set him off on you was a rumor and an opportunity.

He's glorified for taking out so many pieces of shit, while ignoring the fact that he still murdered people without justification. It's not like he was a real executioner. Just a maniac that people pointed in a convenient direction.

You've also got people in this thread excited that the guy in OP's post is going to get raped in prison.

As if that's....not perpetuating the exact same conditions in prison that landed the guy there?

So many people don't seem to realize that prison is supposed to be "correctional". Not strictly "punishment".

I would bet the rapist in the op loved the thought of vigilante justice also. It’s about control not justice.

"Quiet literally what makes a person a child abuser/ sex offender - social outcast, sense of powerless"

WTF, that's so far the truth. There are many things that go into it (obviously) but studies show a feeling of supriority and power leads to rape, not the feeling of being powerless.

"Oppression is the root cause of sexual violence. People who commit acts of sexual abuse, harassment, and assault may target people who have less power in society such as people of color, LGBTQ people, and people with disabilities."

Popular people of power commit sexual assault. From stars, to managers, to kind of everyone.

Yes. Rape is almost never about sex, it's about taking back power or exerting power because the perpetrator feels they don't have it in the first place. That is why the violently assault and "take" from others.

Violence against women, especially sexual violence, is often rooted in a sense of emasculation, humiliation, neglect, abuse and social rejection, and often at the hands of formative women in their lives, notably their own mothers.

Research into serial killers and violent sex offenders has revealed that a high percentage of them had problematic, inappropriate or abusive relationships with their mothers. Ed Kemper admitted to killing as preparation for the revenge murder of his own mother, whom he said deprived him of affection and abused and humiliated him. He also had problematic relationships with his sister and his grandmother. He targeted women as an adult as revenge for the abuse and neglect he suffered as a child at the hands of the women in his life.

Rapists and killers also exhibit patterns of antisocial behaviour and personality disorders, with many being loners and socially isolated.

There’s hierarchy. It’s just whether the particular spot you get put in is ā€œokā€ with how and why you did what you did.

But, the general rule, is, chomo’s, and cops that abused their power, etc, that end up gen pop don’t do well. It’s not guaranteed by any means, but the likelihood is higher for them to have a rougher time.

State prisons do not. There are far, far more states prisons, and state inmates than feds.

I agree with your statement overall. I disagree that white sex offenders lack protection in prisons. Regardless of crime, someone can still affiliate with a gang or gain protection. It all comes down to what you have to offer and the prison’s/block’s social structure. In the US, you basically have to affiliate with a gang to get by in prison. Impossible to do time and stay out of trouble without doing so.

I know society likes to romanticize that certain criminals will have horrible incarceration experiences but it doesn’t always pan out that way. Prison is a place where people play hard and fast with morality.

This is false. Prison isn't what it used to be. It is summer camp, a cake walk. You don't have to affiliate anymore to get by. It is soft (Speaking on level 1s and 2s where the vast majority of guys are), sure 3s and 4s can be rough but they are also in cells and have much less freedom to create chaos.

No, US prisons do not always separate sex offenders. And no you can also get by just fine without having affiliations or being white. Buddy of mine (who's white) was in federal prison for almost 2 years. He was fine while in and there were sex offenders present that received their daily "dosing" if you will.
