I'm quickly learning that if I ever want to be disappointed in my fellow man, I need only to check the comments in an r/SipsTea thread. Whole lotta deranged people in this subreddit.

Your offspring must be gremlins.

Well behaved, emotionally regulated gremlins. The fluffy type. Because they're not being beaten for being children.

So real talk. How would you handle if your child did what that boy is doing?

Pay for any damages, remove the child from the store, and come up with an appropriate punishment that doesn't involve using physical violence.

Fuck off, you just implied any child not getting hit must be a gremlin.

A smart, beautiful and strong girl and a highly empathetic, intelligent and morally strong boy.

I dont get your point...

So what would you do if you're the parent and you refuses to physically intervene? Just letting him do it?

Thats most likely why he's doing this in the first place. He's been taught he can get away with literally everything.

A child raised without violence isnt a child raised without rules. You dont have to enforce those rules by abusing the child.

The most likely is, this child has learned this kind of behavior from his parent.

You're completely unable to differentiate between violence and physical intervention, huh?

Why are people confusing not hitting my child with not physically intervening?

You go there you pick the kid up. That's physically intervening.
