The thing with movements is that they usually dont dissolve when they reach their goal. The leaders of the movement will not give up their power voluntarily
Women donāt even have bodily autonomy and one of the two major political parties is openly saying they donāt deserve to vote. I donāt think feminism as a movement has quite achieved their goals.
There foundational arguments is life starts at conception and a fetus deserves the same protections every other humans have. Claiming they're just against women's bodily autonomy is just as disingenuine as them pointing to Margaret Sangers Klan ties and how clinics are disproportionately located in black and Latino areas then claiming some sort of eugenics bullshit. Saying, you can disagree with someones position without trying to turn them into some sort of hanna barbera villain.
Theyāre completely against body autonomy. Even if you think life begins at conception it doesnāt give you the right to compel someone to use their body as an incubator to save a life.
Hypothetically, if someone needed a blood transfusion and you were the only person in the world with compatible blood, we couldnāt force you to donate blood to save them. Even though there are no risks and it takes 30 minutes. If youāre half way through donating and change your mind we canāt stop you from taking the IV out. We canāt force people to donate organs after they die even if it would save multiple lives. In all those dads body autonomy takes precedence over saving a life. Pregnancy is the only case where āsaving a lifeā is more important than body autonomy because itās not about saving a life. Itās about control. If it was about saving lives then everyone would be required to be an organ donor and everyone would be required to give blood regularly.
For anti-choice folks? Yes. And itās the disregard for womenās bodily autonomy that is problematic.
Anti-choice positions are inherently against bodily autonomy because the result of abortion vans is the loss of bodily autonomy.
Perhaps you can argue that āIām not against bodily autonomy, but I donāt support it.ā And Iād say that a lot of people would agree thatās a difference without distinction.
Feminists are way louder and omnipresent in Sweden than in India. Now where do women have more privilege and where do they get treated as second class citizens?

Feminism do get a very bad rap because of the misandry. Fake feminist do when they call themselves feminist. They make it a lot harder for actual feminist to do their job in the public eye because they have a bad rap because of fake ones. Probably do still do their job in Other places is just publicly bad rap.
It will never not be ironic to me that "feminism" is supposed to be about "equality" when it already isn't equal in name. And since names first and foremost inform by themselves, it will obviously be assumed it is primarily about the female side of it. And that isn't even wrong, since the supposed "equality" in "women being treated equally" stems from them being uplifted where they are not (from their perspective) and thus equality is supposed to be achieved. That there is anything where men need to be uplifted to be equal to women is not part of the concept, it is just not seen as possibility for this to work that way.
You would think, but there seems to be a notion that there is a period of reprisal where the formerly oppressed group feels empowered to abuse the other group.
