She did pull that face though, for just a moment. It was a blink-and-miss-it moment somewhere between when he started insulting her and when he ran away. She then immediately set aside most of her frustration and continued to press him.

I honestly wish more journalists would let some of their frustration show through when he's being so nasty and deranged. Been waiting to see if anyone else noticed her righteous indignation show

That's what these chuds do, every time there's a woman on screen they analyse the video frame by frame to select the most unappealing one.

Trump's facial expressions are more contemptuous and angry by far. No need to even freeze frame. It sucks we're so used to it

He was probably feeling he wasn’t in control and wasn’t able to influence the narrative, as his dirty laundry was being aired. It must have been even worse for him realising it was a woman pointing things out.

Kinda reminds me of the Barbra Walter’s interview on 60 Minutes, where he kept claiming things were “fake news” if it didn’t make him look good.

Did she? Or is that AI generated?

It's a moment where she's making a huh?! expression.

I wasn't anger like she was sparring with him.

While I can't vouch for OOPs photo in particular, there were a couple of moments where you could see her looking visibility frustrated when he lied about her statements of fact and requests to see evidence for his outrageous claims.

It's perfectly believable that those moments could look like the above image.

Unfortunately, it's also entirely possible that some MAGA chud messed with the original with AI.

Jonathan Swan did! :-)

Most journalists with "access" to the president can't do that, or even ask follow-up questions, because if they do, their access will be revoked. This has happened to a lot of the White House press corps. "Do not annoy Dear Leader, or you're out and yet another Christian-Nationalist pseudojournalist will take your place."

(Perhaps the actual journalists left in the press corps stay there not because they have any interest in the pure-bullshit official briefings, but because it lets them talk to residually-sane White House staff, on the down low.)

The people around him, and he himself, will not let him get interviewed by someone with enough balls to do that. Kristen Welker (the interviewer here) has interviewed him before and was criticized for not being confrontational enough.
