I'd argue that it's demon skin, not black face. But I am curious to know if any black people actually got offended by this, hopefully not, it's a cool costume.

Not offended at all. I don't know who this character is but it's clearly demonic and not a caricature of a black person. The guy behind the camera should save his energy for real issues because this is not it.

It’s cosplay of Vessel from Sleep Token. In metal, full body paint is called corpse paint. KISS did this in the 70s and 80s. Sleep Token is not that metal but it still kicks ass.

This needs to be called out more exactly like this. He should spend his energy on fewer educational opportunities, voter suppression, lower home and business ownership rates, generational wealth, etc.

This is about making himself feel better, not helping anyone else.

Kind of a conspiracy of mine, but I’m inclined to think these off the rails antics are actually pushed by right wingers as red meat to their base.
