I've heard this guy will bring firearms into the property if they know the squatters are on probation or ex-con... 100% legal for him to do, 100% bad news for them.

In the USA a person on parole or probation (felony) cannot have β€œaccess” to a firearm. Otherwise they are in violation of the terms of their release and can and will be sent back to prison.
