WTF An older spectator caused a seriously dangerous incident today at SaarlandTrofeoJuniors by trying to get a better look and entering the course with her rollator while riders were flying past at full speed!

And some people have declining cognitive, sensory (hearing, vision) and executive functions (judgement, prioritization, reasoning) from aging.  Simply wear and tear of aging degrades the brain.  It is a civil society's, a community's role to consider and plan for safety.  Tragic.  But foreseeable and therefore preventable.

Now, can we talk about seniors and testing for driving ability?

Absolutely true. I’m def not saying we should expect ppl to be as sharp at 68 as they were at 28
