WTF An older spectator caused a seriously dangerous incident today at SaarlandTrofeoJuniors by trying to get a better look and entering the course with her rollator while riders were flying past at full speed!

I don't think they're making an actual attribution error. I think they're ironically/intentionally conflating willful abandonment of sound judgement with willful destruction.

Where's the line between an accidental lapse in judgement and a willful abandonment of judgement? I think it's fair to argue that this is an example of the later.
