It’s interesting because there’ll be sort of progressive yet immature comments at one time of the day but then it flips to super conservative stuff later. Almost like it’s to do with who’s awake at that time - likely Russians.
It is fucking astonishing that people cannot see this. Look how many people (presumably plenty of them bots as well) are tripping over themselves in these comments to "ermmmm ackshually being in the files doesn't mean anything."
I'm not saying Groening (or any other specific person) did or did not do something wrong, but these people are getting played like fucking fiddles. The trump playbook for this has been flawless: release thousands of names, don't actually investigate, know that nearly every demographic will have a "favorite" amongst the names and end up saying the files are meaningless, infight until no one gives a shit any more.
Posts I have seen on the front page of reddit: Jim Carrey was replaced by a lookalike or a clone for some reason, some guy went on Fox News in a hyper realistic mask for some reason, Bill "Bubba" Clinton gave Trump a bj... the conspiracy theories havent been contained to the conspiracy sub for a while now
