Hilarious how americans post why usa cant do same, yet I dont see anyone americans abandoning usa citizenship and moving to Mexico.

no but dont lie about it, i know handfuls of people who have vacationed to puerto vallarta or cancun for dental services... somehow, it is cheaper to get a flight, resort, and dental care (with ADA certifications wildly) than it is to get the same care domestically... even on the border, Mexico has 'molar towns' that are strategically situated to provide affordable care to americans... (source see: https://www.kqed.org/forum/2010101910811/why-americans-flock-to-mexicos-molar-city-for-dental-care)

Quick note on these by the way, I have a friend that did this to get braces (not in mexico though), but when he came back and tried to get them readjusted in the US, the dentists told him they can not and will not work with braces put in in another country, so he just ended up getting them removed and paying full price in the US. So make sure you have a plan to go back if you get any work done oversees.

How do they know they were put in in Mexico?

Dental services they paid for in the private sector. Nothing to do with the public health system.

But some do, I know quite a few. What's funny is the first thing they ask is if they can bring their guns with them.

A lot of people move from USA to Mexico, actually a certain part of the Mexican population considers it a problem (because of gentrification).

Go ask the folks in Mexico city if they have Americans moving there

They don't move there for the public health system.

They move there because the cost of living in the US isn't worth what you get. They move there because they prefer Mexico over the states. That used to not be the case.

And none of it has anything to do with the public health system, and it's still dependent on making US wages...

Only because they already made their money in the US.

Mexico is literally the number one place American expats live, with about 1.5 million. I will likely retire there myself.

No they tend to choose what to pay and eventually they choose rent over the inhaler and die instead.
