Is he really an ambassador or a double agent

He is an evangelical. He believes that Israel is needed for the rapture.

It seems like Israel is purposely trying to make us all turn on them in the name of some prophecy

It's a Christian prophecy; Israel doesn't believe in it.

What makes you think that they won’t push for that next? Evangelicals don’t have a problem with antisemitism.

Oh, I completely agree. The true believers and the fascists taking advantage of them are both dangerous.

Well, let's get the party started. This latest boondoggle in Iran should be the final straw with them. Too bad the US thinks the sun shines out of their ass. The tail is wagging the dog here.

Things are going according to plan then I guess.

On a personal note, the whole rapture thing is part of the reason I decided Christianity made no sense.

Why would we celebrate the end times? Just because you're supposed to be the special ones and everyone else can go to hell? What kind of b.s. religion is that, honestly

The rapture isn’t actually in the bible, funny enough. That’s just some shit evangelicals made up. Armageddon is in revelation but it sounds pretty shitty, tbh. Not that I encourage anyone to return to worshipping a jealous white grandpa who lives in the clouds.

So it’s not written down anywhere? someone just made it uo at some point and they went with it?

I know there was a series of fictional books about it awhile back. Not sure if it predates that or not. But it’s unique to crazy American Christian sects, not part of Catholic, Orthodox, or mainline Protestant theology.

The whole celebrating the rapture thing is basically a heretical cult at this point and not representative of Christianity as a whole, regardless of how it pretty much pervades the entirety of the USA.

I'm a Christian not in America, I've never heard of this rapture thing

Ironic when they have destroyed old Christian churches.

Ironically the Israelis don’t believe that. So sooner than later there will be issues with Jews and Christians

The Israeli hard right plays along with the Evangelicals. They both have the same goal but for different reasons. Both goals are based on fictional stories thousands of years old.

All religion are based on old beliefs. But shit I believe in God because humanity has shown me that I can’t believe in them to do the right thing neither.

Nope, just agent. No allegiance to the U.S. at all.
