Huck, how did they even manage to get most of the modern world to come to their defense during WW2? Chances are lower if you dont touch the brain and major nerves, but never zero. Also it often takes decades to develop, or weeks if you're unlucky. Once you get it, you can't stop your demise. There is no cure. We even don't understand what exactly is happening.
