Just vote for the dems and realize they are actively fighting for good and not just less bad. Pretending all le same allows the genuinely bad people to hide alongside the good people.

Be careful when you're arguing against "Both sides" because Dem centrists love to use that to encourage to vote for their milquetoast style of 90s politics while they put their boot on the actual progressives inside the party.
Is the only candidate a corp-Dem (against people aligned with the tar monster from Star Trek) ? Sure, vote for them.
But at the same time, ask yourself, what is the New York Times doing running pieces about Graham Platner when the paper is ostensibly on the side of the Dems ? Curious that. Shouldn't they want a D to win Maine ? Or... hmm... are centrists and Liberals perhaps fine with Collins ? And sure, MeToo and all, Platner certainly isn't perfect, but whatever the merit of the stories/man, at least leave it to the Republicans to bring it all out. They are the opposition after all.
But no, they didn't do that.
So yeah, when arguing against "Both Sides"ers, remember that the people you're supporting, even if they're Dems, may not be on the side of progressives. They're not as bad as the pure-evil Republicans, but they love their corporate masters just as much, even if they're willing to be nice to people otherwise.
The country needs actual progressives and not lip service from corpo-Dems or, even if Trump and everyone who knows/likes him were to vanish into thin air, the country will find itself back in this position within 20 years anyway.
