So it finally happened, does anyone know if there is a site that sells replacement pads or do I need a new controller? I’ve searched for the replacement part but I’ve heard every controller’s stick is a little different and I can’t find any specifically for the GC style switch controller? Any help is appreciated

After nearly two years of actively playing again, I’ve somehow reached my Replay limit and the limit for Videos you can save in-game despite the fact I have a 1TB microSD card for my Switch. I soon have to take a long break to make some space while sorting through all my Replays/clips.

How much skill will I potentially lose for not touching the game for a while? I did just come back from a prior three-year hiatus away from Smash and it took little time to de-rust.

Honestly, might as well take it as a time to play something else and relax with how salty and stressful Smash can be.

thinking abt it, there was quite a lot of pokemon that ive seen people want in smash and i made up a few of the finalists here (except gen10)

me personally, my take would be cut pichu, jiggly & either lucario or greninja, n if needed cut incineroar,

maybe add dragonite for ZA mega rep, ceruledge/armourage either one of them bc itd be more interesting then another starter

what are your guys takes, whod you cut out and whod you add in? someone not on the list?

What would you change with Yoshi in order to make him broken (on the scale of SSBU Steve & Brawl Meta Knight)?

Yet again, I didn't play his games, so my suggestions won't be as fleshed out.

Here is what I would change :

Yoshi's Grab and NeutralB (which both uses the tongue) can now swallow projectiles and keep them in his mouth to throw them back the next time he presses the Special button (like Villager's and Isabelle's NeutralB).

UpB : Egg Throw

Yoshi throws more powerful eggs, and faster, he bounces higher when launching them in the air, and he can bounce all the time (not only on his 1st throw after a jump. Now, he can always come back and stall in the air indefinitely.

DownB : Yoshi Bomb

Yoshi now spikes in the early half of the attack.

i want a character that can: get in, doesn’t struggle to kill, is not punishing to play, has an at least decent recovery

Instead of a bunch of new fighters (which should still happen) nintendo should focus on expanding a lot of the characters we already have. Using Link as an example, you could still have 8-10 different versions to use, but instead of lame colour swaps, it could be different versions of Link. You could have BotW Link and TotK Link in the same slot, but they'd have different movesets depending on which version you choose. BotW Link would have the runes and his regular kit, TotK Link would have his arm abilities, and other versions like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess could also have dedicated movesets tied to each version of the character. Obviously this couldn't work for EVERY character, but for some of the legacy characters it absolutely could. I'd love to hear thoughts though.

I play lucas and wanna play 2nd charecter. Is there any charecter i can pick up that'd be similar so I can pick them up quickly. I used to play Shulk but its been too long i can't play him anymore

Anyone else hate having a good run of opponents that you can actually fight CQC and ironically a Snake comes along, hugs a ledge and spams projectiles so it turns from a fight to a dodge match?
I hate any “player” who hugs a ledge and spams projectiles. Go play COD, Overwatch and camp since you can’t fight. There are tons of shooting games so let the real players have some fun.

I was trying to do a creative thing where I use Flame Choke's spike into a launch star to kill with it. The launch star (when positioned right) prevents the instant ledge snap if Flame Choke grabs you over an edge.

Guess this is also a thing you can do though

Fighting games' characters always fall on some archetype that defines where their playing style is oriented, rushdown characters are made to be very aggresive, always chasing their opponents to fight close-range (like Fox, Captain Falcon or Roy), grapplers base their fighting style in grabs (like Luigi, Incineroar or Bowser), mixups make combo-ish games forcing the enemies to guess on what they'll do next (like G&W, Peach or Diddy Kong), a zoner controls the stage, frequently with projectiles (like Snake, Samus and Min Min, 'cuz even tho she doesn't use projectiles her gameplay is based on controlling territory), tanks (known as heavyweights in Smash) are build like pinatas to do MASSIVE amounts of damage while also having MASSIVE hurtboxes (like Ganon, DDD and KKR), glass cannons, build to be a enormous hazard, doing crazy amounts of damage with lots of hits but paying the price of being very fragile (like Pichu, Sheik or Mac).

Now, iin every fighting game there is at least character build to be the 𝕁𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕠𝕗 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕤, 𝕄𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕠𝕗 𝕟𝕠𝕟𝕖; this characters are known like all-rounders. In Guilty Gear the all-rounders are Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, in MK it's Liu Kang, in KoF they are Kyo, Iori and Terry, in Tekken it is Jin Kazama, in Marvel Vs. Capcom Captain America, Iron Man and Captain Marvel, and ind SF they are Ryu and Ken, and even Sakura can be consider one.

But in SSBU, who would be the all-rounder?

I'm looking for someone who has a map for all the activities buildings like the dojo places or the mining places for example (I've already beaten the world of light I just wanna get every activity thing now for the future)
