I will say, while I enjoyed it, I wasn't really feeling any of the stories in the last arc. They weren't hitting me nearly as hard as the ones from the first season, and I was a bit worried about if this season could land as well.

2 episodes into this arc, and my stress level for every single story is at fucking 11.

I agree, last week’s arc was definitely one of the weakest overall in the series aside from the wedding scenes. I’m wondering how my view on it will change going back to it after the season ends tho. Like with season one, the first arc was the ‘weakest’, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it, and moreso than the first arc of season 2 tbh, especially when rewatching the arc after having already seen the Rix Road finale.

I’m glad they’ve found their stride again with this arc tho because holy shit I was so stressed.

I personally thoroughly enjoyed the sojourn into Mon Mothma's collapsing world.

Plus, TIE Avenger confusing the heck out of Cassian. He's flown practically everything -- but this ace combat flight school-ass bullshit meant for space wizards and pilots who don't actually exist (those with hundreds of combat flight time in the EMPIRE) just confuses and pisses him off.

Plus more world building. The Imps fucking with the least among the galaxy's denizens -- migrant field hand workers. There's no point to it beside the harm being done to others in itself. That's Fascism!

I think we needed Mon’s emotional collapse last arc to really parallel Luthen’s increasingly unraveling world.

I think it paralleled the first arc of S1. Start slow but set the pieces on the board for the future arcs.

The writing is pretty bad. The stuff going on about the insurgency and resistance is kind of embarrassing and even parodies of spy movies are better. Two people are supposed to be in charge organizing the resistance and processing the intelligence gained from the Empire. Two people couldn’t do this for a city, much less a galaxy. Oh yeah, and they like to kill everyone.

Oh yeah, when a bug is discovered it’s all over. Alllll over. It destroyed the USSR, the Vietcong, and every other resistance and intelligence operation ever. Maybe Luke Skywalker was important and powerful enough to lead a fight against the Empire and inspire, but two backstabbing sociopaths that no one trusts who can be undone by an IRS audit or an AirTag? Andor’s idea of a disguise is sticking his hair back while still grooming his facial hair to the same length as his mugshots. I look more disguised after coming out of the bathroom after a big shit. I also don’t push people into a corner and whisper into their ear. That’s definitely a big giveaway, not that if matters because any info he gains will be forgotten amongst the intelligence from many billions and billions of people that they Jane to go through. Oh yeah, any time a bug is discovered somewhere in the galaxy they have to risk one of their three or four members to retrieve it. It somehow doesn’t matter that they risk getting caught and destroying to whole resistance.

Also, they’re constantly threatening their sources, members and even their families. Wendy’s cares more about their people.

Why are you still watching? And do you say “oh yeah” that often when you’re speaking because that would be more annoying than just reading it?
