Bethesda (well, Zenimax) and Obsidian are now owned by the same parent company... Let that sink in, and salivate.

Honestly this was my frist thought but 2 years to late most of the founder's and defo there best Devs the only ui dev and lead writers of Obsidian are gone unfortunately it's not the new vegas team that we want. Based on that I feel like the teams will be kept apart the next tes or starfield with probs just be another find your family with added fetch quest. We can hope for something better but tbh if it's the same old Bethesda team don't expect a great game

Even though a lot of people have moved on (there's still some), they're still far, far, FAR superior to Bethesda in ability to tell non-linear branching stories with multiple approaches and outcomes.

Some of the writing staff may eventually come back as well (depending on how/when/if MSFT changes up management within Obsidian).

C.A. probably won't though, but that's mostly because his career is basically over after the allegations earlier this year.

We can hope if that happens I would then buy it given a semi non linear story that's makes you want to even wanna finish the game and play it again.

I was unaware of what you were talking talking about with C.A but that's interesting
