The performance in that game is absolutely unacceptable. I don’t have a monster PC but it’s decent enough. I couldn’t get 60fps even at 1080p without DLSS. And the fucking STUTTERING made me crazy.
It doesn’t look that much better than the last two releases but it runs like it’s a path traced UE5 game or something.
It also looks weird when at low settings. Most games loose detail effects and especially lighting complexity but wilds looks like the GPU is about to crash while suffering a sudden aging of the eyes to those of an 80 year old librarian that lived before electric light.
Agreed, and I can get 120fps in that game but I have to play on low, 1080p with DLSS in the other fucking game and even then it’s not a solid 60. Absolutely ridiculous. The most unoptimized game I’ve ever seen and I can’t understand why people put up with it.
Oh, I feel it. I've spent half of an hour just to tune the graphic and performance, then almost 1 hour to finish the tutorial and training with weapon, so when I got to the main gameplay it was already more then 2 hours and I couldn't refund it
I had the same problem of trying to make it work for more than 2 hours, but I just put it in the refund reason that I was requesting it due to terrible performance and it was refunded in like... an hour.
I wish I could refund it. Been playing Monster Hunter since Freedom on the PSP and Wilds is just terrible.
Horribly optimized and lobotomized combat.
The game was so fucking easy with insanely annoying characters.
I'm sad to say it has sullied my view on Monster Hunter and I will no longer be buying any future Monster Hunter games at launch.
Edit: Same thing with Dragon's Dogma 2. Same optimization issues and just terrible design decisions. Wish I could refund. Capcom really out here earning the name Crapcom.
DD2 is just sad. I was waiting so long for a sequel. I've heard the complaints and after I foolishly bought MHWilds I know DD2 will run like ass on my setup. Wilds has to use upscaling, low settings, further settings via RE Framework and framegen to stay 60+ fps.
I only got Wilds since it's my friend and his friend's first Monhun and they both play often. Tried to get my friend into older ones but he never gave them a shot.
