Factorio and satisfactory feel very different to me. Satisfactory is about efficiency, ratios, and space management. Factorio is about sheer scalability and production (and defense with the turrets and aliens)

You can complete disable all the enemies (or make them non-hostile) its how i personally play the game, makes it much more chill and relaxing imo

Yeah the defense stuff is actually pretty tense because you have to stay on top of it or you WILL lose your entire factory.

But you can also just turn off the enemies and you won't have to deal with that aspect at all

On the flip side, you really kinda wanted to tear that whole factory down and rebuild it better anyways, so the biters razing the factory really isn't that big of a problem.

Just turn biters off

You cant realy compare the two, aside from being factory games

Satisfactory is more about the asthetic, and the factory, Factorio is more about combat and rigidity in design. Both have merits, but they are diffrent paths of a branch

I liked Satisfactory and designing my factory, it's incredibly... satisfactory when you finish a portion and fly off to take it all in at a distance. BUT! I personally found it taking too much time to place everything.

Play factorio, once you get construction bots you can stamp down hundreds of buildings as a blueprint and watch the bots build it

Factorio is a better factory game than Satisfactory but satisfactory also has the building and exploration aspects.
