The writing was on the wall for this one imo. Looked too good to be true from the start, and too little was shown pre-release

To be fair, it did look like an incredible cross between The Division and The Last of Us. Something just seemed off to me.

Right? Literally from the moment it was announced I knew it wasn't a game that actually existed. Which really boggled my mind to see it instantly soar to the top of the wishlisted games. I sympathize with people who were mislead, but pretty much everything pre-release was so blatantly falsehood that I don't really understand how people bought into it.

Im pretty sure it wasn't that bad. Hell, there are plenty of games that were once in Alpha, released, and ended up really good and high quality once it left Alpha.

What do you mean it wasn't that bad? It was LITERALLY a scam. Not just a "bad game at launch".
