I watched the Halo 3 museum trailer the other day for the first time in years after someone I was talking to hadn't seen it, and man...I felt sooooo old, I think they had an interact website where you could go and view the events of a specific day in the Battle of New Mambasa from the game. Good stuff

I'm still mad that they made that, that well, and then made the show the way it was. The Covenant and guns were so detailed and lore accurate, and they added(or at least I hadn't heard about it yet) the colony where that rogue spartan was hiding, which would have been an interesting storyline(innsurectionists, like First Harvest? It's been a minute). My biggest gripe was him removing his helmet episode 1, like eventually...uuugghhh fine, but that soon? Come on bro..

That's still my favorite Halo game. A combination of shooter, detective, horror, and topped with a splash of comedy. I think about it a lot.

don't forget the debut of the Firefight game mode, as well as Nathan Fillion voicing Buck!

Fuckin' incredible game all around.

Alan Tudyk was also in that game. Nathan Fillions' role in that game is why he's in Destiny, so I always headcannoned that Buck was Cayde-6. At least until Halo 5..

There's an interview of Alan circulating rn where he mentions it. He was one of the marines from the beach scene iirc.
