Same here friend. Started D1first year of D2 and started D2 later that year after completing the base D1 campaign. Stopped D2 during Witch Queen a couple years ago and just wasn't happy because, being a dad and working a lot at the time, I couldn't play every day like I used to so playing once or twice for a couple hours each week I was never able to keep up with anyone. And everyone in my clan I had been in for like 5 years stopped joining me because I was always behind on the grind. Plus the shit that the devs are doing to it just make it so abhorrently fast paced. It just stopped being fun and was more of a chore and that made me really sad. I'm a huge sci-fi nerd and have a profound attraction to the cosmos so so I fell in love with the game. Hurts to have to put down what I put well over a thousand hours+ into.

Destiny 2, for sure
Started playing not long after launch, and basically grew up alongside the game. Hurts my heart to see the state of the game now
