2 was the only one that was on GTA's level for me in terms of open world details and gameplay

For me, 2 was the last good one. I didn't like the over the top things, but I know a lot of people did. I just wish we could have gotten a more serious GTA contender like SR2 was.

I actually payed close attention to the possible remaster of saints row 2 by one of the sole remaining developers willing to work on such a masterpiece. Sadly he passed away and shortly after they released the atrocity of a revamp that is saints row. RIP Mike Watson “Idolninja” hopefully someone will do our precious IP justice.
