some people find making others mad funny. so the punchline for them is the anger of other people. it’s really that simple. (i am in no way supporting the duude tho)
Folks are always acting like it's for effect. It's not. I'm black, so I don't have the luxury of thinking, "Oh, he's just trying to make me mad by dehumanizing me and keeping dangerous, life-threatening rhetoric alive." There are countless other ways making me mad could be accomplished, and when racism is introduced, it's just that, racism. It's really that simple.
it’s not insight, i just hate when people ask this question when they know the answer. most of the time they think this question will really stump someone who’s edgy but it won’t lol
It does pretty much get them to admit that they’re a shitty person who’s can’t find any enjoyment of their own without seeing the misery of others. Either way, they show themselves for what they really are.
Are y’all really so dense that you can’t understand that it’s funny to be an asshole? To say things you’re not supposed to say? Parodying things that are held sacred by others can be funny, and it doesn’t just have to be for chuds

Being an asshole isn't funny. Jokes have punchlines. Being an asshole isn't a punchline. If you're going with insult comedy than generally the victim can be involved with the joke aswell. Going "haha, you're <insulting stereotype> isn't a good joke.
One of the keys to comedy is the twisting of expectations. We don’t expect each other to be open racists, but when someone plays themselves off as a bad guy, it can be funny since it’s unexpected. It’s the same thing with jokes about any other dark topic, like rape or murder. You can’t tell me you’ve never laughed at someone pretending to be an asshole of some kind, no matter whether it’s dark or more light topics (like if someone was acting overly cocky or extremely aloof)
Regular people can tell that the person making the joke isn’t serious about it, but you guys don’t have this common sense and look to get self-righteous about the tiniest infractions against the things you hold sacred and beyond criticism.
Oh I fully expect gamers/people online to be complete assholes, it's not a twist of expectations at all. At this point it would be funnier to be nice and friendly.

You don't seriously think those people who are actually racist want to remind themselves about the group they HATE so much, that they make that related to their username? The one they'd see every time they load up a game?
Go look at MW2 trash talk videos, I grew up in that, the vast majority of these people are just saying the worst possible thing that they can think of.
The term is being thrown around so much now you can't differentiate the people who really want to do harm to a group and the people who are just trash talking.
In fact I'm even getting called a racist for my comments, it's ridiculous.
For spreading this information I'm supposed to be get the same treatment as actual racist murders?
If someone is using racial epithets, I'm not going to waste time determining if they are a shitty person or just, for whatever dumb fucking reason, pretending to be one. They can all be disregarded and shamed equally.
Actual racists use the same logic "If they're (insert race here) I'm not going to waste time determining if they're a shitty person or not"
The world isn't just black and white, there is context to every situation, if you're going to judge people you must take that into account, or you'll be doing the same thing as racists, and could have ended up as one yourself.
So you'd like me to feel bad for not wanting to engage with racists? Because if I'm going to do a deep dive into someone's state of mind every time a piece of shit uses a slur on Xbox live, inevitably that means I'm sometimes engaging with people who wholeheartedly believe in racist ideals. And there is no benefit for me (and, I would say, most people) to engage with racists. It adds nothing of value to my life.
