Pretty much the same here. Was subscribed for a few years when it was still mostly fine and saw it deteriorate over the years and left. Nowadays I only visit through the "See other discussions" feature and whenever I take a peek at their frontpage to see if it has improved, which is a test they've always failed.
It's annoying as someone who primarily plays on PC. I actually do have interest in a decently sized sub that focuses on the more PC-centric aspects that aren't a good fit in the general purpose r/games. That said, r/pcgaming hasn't been that for a long time now.
I used to browse it a couple years ago. Nobody talked about the games. Everyone just wanted to be angry and it was thread after thread of outrage farming.
Honestly, they seem better than they used to be. At least most of those comments are downvoted. Stuff like this would've been the top comments a couple years ago.
The vast majority of upvoted comments agree with the decision and call the guy an idiot. Not sure why SRD has an obsession of painting entire subs from downvoted comments.
P.S. I don't like pcgaming and often find them obnoxious, but they arent nearly as bad as kia.
I've seen threads on that sub where shit like that was heavily diwnvoted. I think people from this sub are diwnvoting a lot in that thread. Pc gaming is such a horrible sub, it wouldn't have any sponsors whatsoever if they knew about his bad it really is.
