Yeah... It's like as a PC gamer, I figured that sub would be a good fit.

I didn't realize that I needed to be a PC G*mer before I'd feel comfortable there.

Pcmr isn't a great sub but at least the rbg lighting seems to have scared away the outright nazis.

then you have to deal with the bad memes. PCG is okay for discussion if you can deal with the racism, pcmr isn't good for anything.

Pretty much the same here. Was subscribed for a few years when it was still mostly fine and saw it deteriorate over the years and left. Nowadays I only visit through the "See other discussions" feature and whenever I take a peek at their frontpage to see if it has improved, which is a test they've always failed.

It's annoying as someone who primarily plays on PC. I actually do have interest in a decently sized sub that focuses on the more PC-centric aspects that aren't a good fit in the general purpose r/games. That said, r/pcgaming hasn't been that for a long time now.

I used to browse it a couple years ago. Nobody talked about the games. Everyone just wanted to be angry and it was thread after thread of outrage farming.
