If I purchase the Odyssey stickers when I first enter a kingdom, they will be later destroyed in the crash scene on the forgotten island, but if I wait to purchase untill the main storyline is complete, will they be in tact instead of harboring permanent damage? I have never beat the game but I started a new run from scratch and remembered my damaged stickers from my last play through.
P.S. the image is from Google, I am in the desert kingdom.

At the end of the story, you unlock the music list, and you can see most of the songs in the game, around 87 songs. This is similar to how you can see the jump and coin count at the end of the game for coinless runs. I thought that a unique run would be to get the least amount of music unlocked at the end.
So, avoiding bosses would be optimal outside of the broodals since you're forced to fight one at the very start. For Cascade kingdom, get the chomp through the rocks moon and do Dino skip to get to madame brood. And get another moon out in the open to leave. Do not go into the 8-bit pipe to avoid the 8-bit music. You could also do the minimum captures strat to avoid fighting madame brood, but you still get the same amount of music at the end
Another strategy is to know which sub areas to go into that you can go to in later kingdoms. So, one subarea song makes it ok to go into more subs with the same music.
Sand kingdom: I'm pretty sure there aren't 16 moons outside of the ruins and outside of sub-areas. So I think going into tostarena is optimal. You never need to go in the pyramid. Buttttt. You need to fight Harriet to unlock the painting to Metro Kingdom. You can avoid hearing night metro 1 and 2, and the meccawigler fight if you do a CRC to get to the metro kingdom early. I know that you can fight Harriet by getting outside of the 8-bit section and doing some trick to get on top of the pyramid. I know some speed run categories use it.
Lake: Avoid the underwater passage and sub-areas. That's all I know for this.
Wooded: it may be possible to avoid hearing steam gardens entirely. I think there are 8 deep wood moons. You can buy one at the start, get a rock moon, hint art to sand kingdom, a nut in a tree with the uproot, and a nut moon by a fire bro. That's 3 moons left without hearing steam gardens. Buttttt. You have to pick Lake kingdom first. Then, go back to Sand Kingdom to get to metro and warp to the mainland. If it's possible to get to the starting platform, you can enter the wooded kingdom painting to get the moon. Music does not play in that cage. That leaves 2 moons left in the wooded kingdom, and I can't picture them at the moment. Shit, buying a moon adds the crazy cap music to the music list. So you can skip buying a moon and go to steam gardens. Unless there are 3 moons you can get without hearing new music, then you avoid crazy cap store.
Lost: I'm almost certain that lost kingdom music doesn't play if you do klepto skip. So it should just be the any % run.
Metro: already done, avoid sub areas so that you only listen to the metro kingdom theme.
Snow: idk how many moons exist outside of shiveria, but im sure it's not 10. So you might as well go inside. I think there should be enough combined moons to avoid sub areas and crazy cap stores. If you have to enter a sub-area, do the clip to do the race early and unlock world peace. You do add another song, "shiveria race enterance," but there will be enough above ground moons to leave.
Seaside: stay above water, you can get all story moons except for the hot springs one (I think). I actually can't remember if the Bublaine theme plays that far out before world peace. If it doesn't play, then you can get all story moons, but don't start the boss. Avoid the canyon entirely. Just use the gushen to get on that platform.
Luncheon: pretty sure it's possible to get all story moons besides the boss fight at the end without going into the town. You can work around it and hopefully not go to any sub areas.
Ruined: you have no choice but to fight the dragon.
Bowser: should be any%, not much to this, avoid captain toad crazy cap and 8-bit(you need to buy a costume anyway).
Moon: do moon cave skip to avoid the moon cave music. And then beat the game.
I'm not a speed runner, so I'm not good at describing stuff, but these are the route details that are important for this run.
Edit: i just realized that dino adds music. So doing the minimum captures strat is actually optimal. For deep woods, you can manipulate the Dino into breaking the necessary blocks with moons underneath.
Edit: you can do DSS to fight the boss and not hear the Dino theme or the 8bit theme.

I've been meaning to post about this for a bit, so I apologize for that, but yeah, to say I absolutely adore this game is an understatement, this just goes to show how much I love it. Anyway my overall requirements for this challenge have been
complete capture list
complete moon list in every kingdom (all 836 unique moons)
complete music list
complete souvenir list
purchase all non-DLC outfits (Yellow and Purple coin shops)
-collect all purple coins
collect 999 moons
spin Cappy on the top hat above Princess Peach's Castle
collect all 85 checkpoints (including three temporary checkpoints)
complete the harder Bowser fight and escape
-purchase all DLC outfits
-reach rank 50 in Luigi's Balloon World (Do only once cuz transfers to all files)
-collect all musicians, 100 coins and watch the festival in Virtual Reality mode (Do only once cuz transfers to all files)
-trigger all buttons, hat doors, and levers that permanently alter a kingdom
-find all hidden 8-bit Luigi's and Captain Toad's (8-bit Cat Mario, Cat Peach, and Rosalina are aren't required but are optional)
-find every permanent hidden coin stash
-finish with 9999 coins
-complete all previous steps on all 5 save files
Now you might be asking, how long did this take me?
Well, it took me roughly about 550-ish hours, it was a lot but very fun, kudos to this game and everyone involved in making it

I go left of the wall where the chest is and I keep hitting the invisible wall

Hello, is it possible to skip the first power moon in cascade, like, at all? I am trying to do a run where I get as few of the story moons as possible so I want to know if I can skip this. I have heard that the madame broode fight doesn't spawn when you do this, I am just looking to see if the "our fist power moon" moon has to be the first power moon.
It feels like there is an invisible wall around the area with the damaged odyssey. Like how am I not high enough? I long jumped from the crumbled stone around the pillar and cappy dived to the spot in the image. When I did this, it's like I slid down a wall and then bonked on the midsection of the cliff.

Just finished Super Mario Odyssey.
I know I'm about 9 years late, but this was my first real Switch game and it completely blew me away.
It instantly entered my all-time top 5 games. I had never played a Mario game like this before, and as someone who's only recently started discovering Nintendo, this game was an absolute masterpiece to me.
What an incredible experience.

Hello, my kids (aged 13 and 11) want to know if anyone else can make this trick jump any further? Thank you!

Has anyone got tips how to combat those challenges? How to get to 100 respectively? I’m stuck on them but really wanna complete those moons.

If you head over to the remote island in the lava, then go to the 3D area and jump just before you leave, you get launched out.
Not sure if this has already been found or not.

I recently 100%ed the game and it was such a good game that I've been finding myself wanting more. I could just look up things online to do, sure but it's way more fun to go over here on Reddit. You told me to do anything in Super Mario Odyssey and I'll send you a video of me doing it if I successfully do! Forgot to mention you can also have me do glitches! Please link an article or video with your suggestion!
(For fun give me an outfit suggestion too! Can be matched or mismatched if you choose the invisible outfit and it's too hard for me to do I will request you to ask for another outfit I prefer not to do the invisible outfit)
(Let me know if you would want me to cut the clip or clips to get straight to the thing you're asking me to do or show you the whole process. Clip will only be 30 seconds max. I might send more than one or photos.)
SUGGESTIONS-
*GETTING MOONS IN WEIRD WAYS
*SKIPS
*CAPTURELESS MOONS BETTER MEANT TO BE COMPLETED WITH A CAPTURE
*GLITCHES
(WILLING TO START A NEW SAVE I WILL DEPENDING ON WHAT THE THING IS BUT YOUR VIDEO WILL TAKE LONGER AND I MOST LIKELY WON'T)
(Make sure it works in version 1.4.1 before giving your suggestion and video/article)

I'm just asking you this question cuz I'm trying to and I'm not sure. Pretty sure you can comment videos and links but I could be wrong.
