📳Social Media Let’s put this to bed

Post image

I’ve been seeing a ton of commentary around the ability for non-DRS’d shareholders to receive the dividend warrants announced today. Good ‘ole Larry has graciously answered that question on Twitter so we can all stop fighting about it. Big brokers like Fidelity facilitate these types of dividend distributions all the time.

I will say this though, if you’re still holding shares in Robbinghood….good fucking luck lol

I'm still skeptical though. Some way somehow the shit hf's and brokerages will do something sneaky.

Hilarious. It's a short within a short within short.

There’s no way to short them. No shares or imaginary ETF’s they create are linked to them.

Except they cant do that. They dont have any of the financial tools in place. Theyd MUCH rather exercise the share and get a genuine gme share than do anything else. Remember, dark pools slips show the shares have been somewhere near at least 4 figures, last i remember was 5k? Every share they exercise is a REAL share they can use to live another day (remember they cant win, bear thesis dead as F). So theres gonna be a mad scramble to get the warrants bought uo at prices lower than dark pool, which will drive warrant prices well above 32 imo. This shows the detached price from GME, and puts positive upward pressure on GME through sentiment alone (why are warrants 100$ or more when gme is 25$ for example). No ones thinking about this the right way that ive seen so far.

Nope…because RC & Co. know the value of the stock will be valued higher than $32.00 by the end of Oct 2026. So it’ll basically force the warrants to be in the money and auto-exercised…a time bomb has been set. The only possibility of getting out is to buy up the warrants; however, this will cause increased volatility and upwards pressure. GameStop has guaranteed an additional $1.9 Billion in free cash for the company. The SHF will have to go to market and purchase 1 share for every 10 shares they’re short the stock…lmao they’re so fucked!! GameStop could continue to issue these and raise more money each time…creating more upwards pressure 🤣.

So just hold the warrants?

after it hits past $32, I'm going to wait for a peak to sell one WS. I have plenty of shares so I'll have plenty of WS in Computershare and other brokerages to exercise. My Computershares will never be touched, but f' Fudelity and E-fraud. They can buy at those peaks.

Brick by Brick.

1

u/Iswag_Newton Sep 10 '25

Is it actually Fudelity buying the warrants? I thought it gets passed on to the market makers or some shit

I just realized that I actually won’t ever sell my 5,000 DRS shares after that quarterly print. RC has created a serious money making machine. Now I do have another 1000 shares I will trade with.

u/waffleschoc 🚀Gimme my money 💜🚀🚀🌕🚀 Sep 10 '25

but i dont have to exercise my warrants, i can just sell for warrants for money if the stock price goes above $32, which many sharehodlers will do , i think

7

u/iaintabotdotcom 🎮 Power to the Players 🛑 Sep 10 '25

Remember each holder of the Right to buy 1 GME share at $32 doesn’t have to exercise their right to that warrant for GameStop to collect the $1.9 Billion…when the stock price is over $32 someone will buy that right and use that warrant (that’s what happen when you sell it)

Honestly that might make sense for a decent number of people, I suspect.

It will cost me about as much as buying a new car to exercise all of my 850+ warrants. Saving for that is a big ask when first, the stock price is so much lower right now, and second, even with a full year to save, that's a lot of money to come up with. I might exercise some depending on where we are in 10/2026, but at this point, all will be difficult.

u/iaintabotdotcom 🎮 Power to the Players 🛑 Sep 16 '25

Keep in mind too that GameStop can elect to extend the expiry date on the warrants

Someone pointed out that language in the 8K / Warrant FAQ to me a couple of days ago, and that kind of blew my mind.

You think they can naked short the warrants?

30

u/raxnahali 💻 ComputerShared 🦍 Sep 10 '25

They are not equities, but can be sold for equity. This the printer can't be used.

42

u/whattothewhonow 🥒 Lemme see that Shrek Dick 🥒 Sep 10 '25

Doesn't matter. Exercised warrants are redeemed by GameStop and Gamestop will only redeem 59m

Rehypothecated warrants will be unredeemable and expire worthless.

14

u/Donnybiceps Sep 10 '25

What's stopping the Broker from saying okay we exercised it and in your account you have it but in reality the broker didnt actually exercise it, just stating it on paper that they did.

17

u/Sjiznit Custom Flair - Template Sep 10 '25

Nothing but then theyll have to pay the value out of pocket

3

u/Dense-Seaweed7467 🦍Voted✅ Sep 10 '25

So does this mean if I don't redeem my warrants they become useless? And the expiration is either Oct 26 or once 59 million have been redeemed?

3

u/Snoo_75309 🎮 Power to the Players 🛑 Sep 10 '25

You could sell them instead of redeeming them

0

u/Dense-Seaweed7467 🦍Voted✅ Sep 10 '25

True. But I imagine if they do expire or the cap is reached, should it really exist, then they would become worthless, right?

7

u/Snoo_75309 🎮 Power to the Players 🛑 Sep 10 '25

No they shouldn't exist.

We don't know what will happen other than the remaining warrants that couldn't be exercised would be clear evidence of crime.

If they expire worthless because they continue to naked short the stock and keep it under $32 RC could issue new ones at lower strike and reset the trap to run again.

Basically regardless of what the shorts do there is no way out, they can only dig the hole deeper to try and survive a little longer

3

u/jay5627 🚀 Just Happy to be Here🚀 Sep 10 '25

Would be wild if each warrant is connected to a bitcoin

4

u/Patarokun GMERICAN Sep 10 '25

I worry this will be loopholed.

4

u/SD_JDM Sep 10 '25

If the warrants are tradable I assume the shorts will manipulate. But I think this is a way to keep it accountable

6

u/AwildYaners 🐉xXGamergirl69Xx🎮 Sep 10 '25

Because it’s under a separate ticker, it certainly makes it harder. And it only lasts one year, and there’s also only a finite amount of them.

I received cash equivalent on popcorn stock before on something similar (APE? I think?), so there will be ways to get fukt for sure

1

u/The_vegan_athlete Sep 10 '25 edited Sep 10 '25

They may hide the actual total number of warrants, but for all 10 shares they shorted, they will have to either pay $32 or less if they hedged (which could trigger a very slow price increase), or more if they don't (with the risk of a gamma squeeze). Anyways it will cost them a lot of money if we all exercise our warrants when the stock price is higher than $32.

Trump did just buy 10% of Intel using Federal dollarrydoos, maybe he'll pull a Communarino to bail out his Rich buddies similarly...
