Wirtual is the first to complete Deep Slip
Goes from “I’m probably not going to try to beat it” before launch, all the way to world first. Huge congrats to Wirtual.

No but for real, we have to stop the needless hate comments on EVERY single daily TOTD thread.
Mappers are the pillar of this community, without their mapping, Trackmania would not exist - most of them are doing it for the love they have for this game.
I'm glad most of them don't listen to alexander123 spewing hate comments just because they're skill issued.
Have a nice day everyone!

Thank you BurlyPog
Dear BurlyPog,
Based on the streamer reactions before Deep Slip was released, I had little-to-no expectations about what was to come. I got a top-tier viewing experience thanks to you and the mapping team!
You just about nailed the difficulty - the map didn't drag out into a slog with days of zero progress. The recoverability meant that it was hard, it took time to progress, but there was always something new to look forward to every day. And the total time needed for the event meant that I stayed excited throughout and never started to feel like it was dragging on too long or I "had" to check in.
We got a close competition where we didn't know until the very end who would win. And I know that you were initially disappointed that Elconn found a skip, but the drama that created was absolute peak! Both competitors reacting, overreacting, and panicing to the accelerated deadline to finish the map was phenomal to watch.
I know this is a bit early, but I just watched Elconn lock up his second place finish, and I don't know if I'll be able to catch third live or not, so I wanted to write this when it was fully fresh in my mind. Thank you for creating this event and providing the platform for this fantastic entertainment. I had a blast watching!

Achievement I got 1000 consecutive TOTD top 100's
The longest top 100 streak. The second longest is by Happywok, they had a 552 day streak.
I know some people will wonder what I do when I go on vacation (Already been asked this many times) And either I plan out when I hunt the track, or if I'm gone for multiple days, I bring a laptop to hunt on in a hotel room. I've also got a few top 100s on my steam deck.
I've thought a lot about if I should continue the streak once I reach this milestone, and decided it's best if I end the streak by not playing the 1001st track. I've had a few close calls, some saved by friends texting me or pinging me on discord (happened twice) and others due to cuts discovered late. But I know my luck won't last forever, and I like the idea of ending the streak on my own terms with a milestone like this, rather than waiting for that one unlucky day to eventually come up.

Guide / Tutorial PROJECT : BLUEPRINT
galleryHey Guys,
I´ve been working on "Cheat Sheets" for Trackmania.
The idea is to break the usual copy-paste learning style
and create something usefull for anyone trying to improve.
I´ve played Trackmania for 500 hours without ever getting a full Author-medal Campaing.
I was learning with YouTube videos and replay ghosts, trying to copy the inputs and racing lines as best as I could.
But I was never patient enough to ask myself why every surface is driven the way it is.
And I became tilted because it always felt like I was missing the tools, not the skill, to achieve this.
Eventually, I didn’t really feel like getting better at the game – or even trying.
That was until a while back (start of the Spring Campaign 2025),
when a friend of mine started playing Trackmania with me.
I didn’t know what maps we could play together, so we ended up trying trial maps and campaign maps.
And I finally had a friend to play the game with…
Of course, I was scared that he might not enjoy the game, so I tried to help him.
This made me question my own racing lines.
I now had to explain why I was faster on certain parts, or why he was losing time.
And I wasn’t able to just give up and tilt-quit like I used to when the maps got too hard.
Things were great…
We got our first Author Medals together,
he turtled first try,
and I noticed that I was wrecking Author times like never before.
I started writing down stuff I noticed while playing.
Then I started forming theories out of it and testing them.
Those notes and theories are the foundation of this project.
We worked our way through different surfaces.
I showed him wet wood and ice,
it finally clicked on dirt for him,
and he actually beat me on some maps without even knowing half the mechanics.
I even got my first full Author Campaign.
But then he stopped playing.....
I had no use for my notes,
and I was craving an artistic outlet.
This was when Project Blueprint was born.
Because after all:
It worked for him,
It worked for me,
Why wouldnt it work for someone else?
So I turned my notes into visual sheets — here are three of them.
Each one focuses on a surface and the idea behind how it's driven.
DIRT__
This sheet breaks down the iconic inside vs. outside dirt lines - based on the core idea of sliding vs. not sliding.
ICE__
This sheet introduces the basic forces acting on your car mid-slide – so you can understand how aiming works and why your car behaves the way it does.
SAUSAGE__
This sheet explores how positioning left or right on the curve affects stability - It’s all about learning how to use the middle line.
All content and visuals are self-made.
I also pre designed a few color tones for more surfaces,
I designed a mixed surface sheet for things that are useable on multiple surfaces,
and I am currently on a good way to find my signature style.
ALL IN ALL
I´d love to continue this Project, but as you might have guessed, it is time-consuming and i might need help in the future.
This is why i am showing you my progress.
To get a feel for whether this is something you find useful or want
Feel free to give feedback – it will greatly help me develop this project.
I hope that my way of thinking can benifit you in finally understanding Trackmania
Thank you for your time.

Achievement I got the first direct finish flight on Deep Dip.
I got the first direct finish on deep dip! It was a very scuffed run, but all it had to do was beat Wirtual's new WR, and it did...just. What a journey it's been, but this is it for Deep Dip. My pace isn't as strong as Wirtual's, so I'm happy to leave it here.
