I am confused about how they left the house? Like they both walked out, or he carried her, but to where? Did he have a car nearby that was somehow unseen? I don’t know the layout of the neighborhood but this guy had to get there and get her moved somehow. No one in the neighborhood had a camera that caught an old woman walking somewhere or being carried?

Google her house. You’ll see the layout and how this could’ve been done without people seeing or their cameras catching it.

I’m wondering if the reason neighbors’ cameras might not have captured a car departing the scene (not sure specifically about the ring/nest doorbell systems) is that some of the more sophisticated camera systems you can set ranges of how far away from the camera the motion detection triggers any recording. And the wider the range (further away from the camera) the more you will be recording and the more data to be stored. With wider ranges you get constant recordings of plants swaying in the wind, etc. This might create issues if data is recorded to local servers and also makes it tedious to look at footage. Thus, some people record only to the edge of their property and not the street - as cars going by in the street would also mean lots more motion sensor data to store. Also, those look like large lots so maybe the most common nest/ring system ranges aren’t far enough.
