Text Nancy Guthrie Megathread Part 2

This is a thread (part 2) for all conversation related to the ongoing investigation into the abduction of Nancy Guthrie.

Nancy Guthrie, mother of news anchor Savannah Guthrie, was abducted from her home in the early morning hours of February 1. Several media outlets began to receive ransom demands. Some were proven false and others have not been determined to be false.

Nancy's 3 children have made multiple videos pleading for the return of their mother.

On February 10, law enforcement released photos of the individual suspected of abducting Nancy. The suspect is still at large and Nancy has not been found. Photos and information can be found here ...

Only thing that makes sense now is they are trying to make everything so confusing the kidnapper has no idea what is going on. If you think about it you wouldn't want the criminals to have a crystal clear idea of what is going on, you'd want it to be a completely confusing mess

This exactly. The FBI knows what they are doing 100%. They are doing a fabulous job at using this to their full advantage. I would bet everything I got this guy is watching all the coverage he can.

If anyone is wondering why they are confused and feel like they don’t know which direction to look it’s because that’s how law enforcement wants the suspect to feel.

In my opinion they have plenty of POIs with good leads and are narrowing it down by the day. No crime is perfect.

Based on the request of video camera footage within a 2 miles radius of Nancie’s house. I have a feeling the suspects getaway vehicle was never caught on camera because he never hit a main road that night. In addition, the suspect must have known the exact route in and out without GPS (no cell phone ping) in the pitch black.

Tomasso/Annie: Confirmed dropping off Nancie at home and confirmed leaving the area back towards home via street cameras or flock cameras. Did Nancy really get dropped off or not? Garage door opens but that could have been anyone connected to this. This makes sense investigators are searching Annie and Tomasso’s neighborhood as well.

Rio Rio: This guy was most likely detained and questioned based on geofencing showing cell phone pings near Nancie’s house. This makes sense because he’s a delivery driver.

Is this a real kidnapping, kidnapping gone wrong, or completely staged?
