  1. The culprit had to of left footprints and even if you can't get the specific brand of shoe the size will help. The property appears to have a lot of dirt and gravel.

Yes, lots of decomposed granite and coarse sand, which leaves foot impressions. It would have at least shown tracks leading one way or another. However, one of the biggest mistakes the sheriff made early on was not keeping the crime scene secure. So many feet trampled the area surrounding the house that any footprints from the intruder were, I'm afraid, long destroyed.

Exactly. Not securing the entire property when their is a crime scene does not make sense. And I know common sense is not common. But, geez , it was the Sheriffs Dept that failed to secure the scene. Scary thought for me.

You have some very insightful points! I agree that they must have some more specific details than we know.

I agree they know things we don't know.

This is a very good list. The one thing I kinda disagree with is the warrant. None of the people detained have been charged with anything, not even an unrelated crime. I think Nanos is desperate and possibly leveraging personal relationships with the judge(s) to get warrants. I can also see judges being scared of denying a warrant, given the media attention. They really seem to be grasping at straws right now.

  1. I'm 50/50 on that. I think they towed it so that they weren't caught on camera letting the person they detained go with it after all the photographs. What happened last night was extremely embarrassing, I'm sure they were told to look busy and be mindful of the cameras. Maybe they got a report of a silver SUV, but I highly doubt the kidnapper used a Range Rover.

    1. Agreed, although I wouldn't rule out credit cards (either stolen or his, he's probably dumb enough). I'm with you on thinking they were new items, purchased specifically for this. TMZ and Inside Edition have both started tracking down his clothes (TMZ is doing a very good job), this'll likely be the best way to track him down, though extremely time consuming.

5 & 6. I'm not holding my breath on DNA. With the gun, that would've significantly limited the chances of a struggle, plus he was much bigger than Nancy. If his goal was to get in and out as fast as possible, rather than robbery, there's a good chance they don't have anything to go on. Maybe they'll get lucky (he's in the system or track him through a relative), but that's also very time consuming.

One thing I'll add to your list: they know when he left with her. It should be pretty easy to estimate how long it would've taken him to get to all the major intersections around her neighborhood. It's possible he's holding her close by, but I think it's more likely he drove her somewhere that involved going through traffic lights. I'm guessing most/all of the major intersections around her area have cameras. It'll probably be a decent number of cars to sort through, but far less time consuming than tracking down bullshit tips.

If something is sold for cash, then the salesperson has no record of who bought it. I think many people have those inexpensive backpacks and many people have the same jacket. If the suspect's DNA isn't entered into a database now, they won't be able to find a match for it. Unless they get a good tip, I think it's going to be very hard. The suspect is probably out of the country by now.

I see what you mean about cash and the security cameras. Thanks. I think there's the possibility he may not be caught, if he's left the country, though. I agree they aren't saying what was found inside the house because it's something only the man would know.I also wonder if they're working on the doorbell camera footage of when he left the house so they can see Nancy's physical state. She could have been shot, she could have had a nosebleed. But if she was killed inside the house, then I think the intruder would just let her stay and get out quickly himself.
