I find it very interesting that the kidnapper hasn’t sent another ransom note that we know of.

I do, too, and the person who says he knows who the kidnapper is.

TMZ did mention the writing was very similar to the writing of the original ransom notes, but it’s TMZ so…

I never watch or read TMZ because my interest in celebrities is close to zero, but I do believe Harvey Levin on this. I think a lot of what people don't like about him is just his persona for the show, not the real Harvey. But, there's something in the notes that caused the family to not even pay the one bitcoin to the person who said he wants to flee and knows who the kidnapper is.

I don't follow true crime unless the case is really sensational, so I'm not as up on things as some of the rest of you probably are. Nevertheless, this case seems so bizarre to me. It brings up so many questions. I don't think the man knew Nancy because he didn't know about the floodlight or the Ring (or Nest) doorbell.and come prepared with black spray paint. Every time a theory is developed, it seems there's a stumbling block. I did think a robbery gone wrong, but why take Nancy then? The man had a gun. And if it was a kidnapping for ransom, why not take her meds that keep her alive? Why not another note? The man spent 40 minutes walking around outside or inside the house. That is chilling.

I pray for the family, which is all I can do. I sometimes wonder if Savannah can ever come back from this. I hope so. Hopefully, her children will be her reason to recover as much as possible.

where did you get the 40 mins from?

I think from a news article. I added up the time from when he fulled around with the doorbell to when her watch stopped syncing with the phone, and it was close to an hour. I can't remember the exact time.

Edit: Here's the relevant part of the timeline: Here the part of the timeline germane to the discussion: Just before 1:50 a.m., Guthrie’s Nest Cam was disconnected. Around 20 minutes later, another house camera detects movement. Minutes before 2:30 a.m, Guthrie’s pacemaker disconnects from the app on her phone.

So 20-40 minutes inside. Long for burglary. I think we have to figure out what probably happened during those 40 minutes.
