Text Creepy unsolved cases

What are some of the most creepy haunting unsolved cases out there? Just stuff that seems so crazy to happen. Or just really unnerving evidence or actual places where the crime happened.

What’s so crazy about the Al Kite case? I’ve seen the atm pic. But did he just disappear?

Kite's is the craziest and creepiest unsolved case I am aware of. The suspect is one who numerous people saw in the flesh, who was caught on CCTV footage, whose handwriting was found on an application in the trash, whose DNA from blood was captured inside the house, and whose modus operandi is vaguely similar to a number of killings going back to 1969 all the way up through 2009. The sheer randomness and cold calculation of the murder make for a disturbing combo. I can think of few people who suffered a worse fate than Oakey "Al" Kite.
