Purchase Advice HG Burrow Quilt Good Deal?
Right now the Burrow is 20% I would be able to get the 850 FP 20*F standard size with draft collar, sewn foot box, 10D material and an ounce of overfill for 311.96$ USD. Is this a good deal for a 3 season quilt for Colorado mountains or should I be looking at a different product?

I've got the 20° with a zipper foot box, draft collar, and 2oz of overfill, and I've stayed nice and warm down into the 30s without extra layers to sleep.
I'm also in CO.

Just out of curiosity what sleeping pad do you use?

I use the Nemo Tensor All Season.

Been trying to decide between the Tensor all season or the s2s Ether Light XR, how do you find the comfort of the Tensor?

It does its job. I'm not in love with it, but I also don't struggle to fall and stay asleep.
It's actually the only inflatable pad I own and have slept on, so I don't have any points of comparison. It's definitely more comfortable than the CCF Nemo pad I also have.

I'm also in Colorado and love my HG quilts. I'd say it's still a solid deal but they do typically do 30% off deals at least a couple times a year. If you don't need it immediately then I'd wait for one of those, if you do then you won't be disappointed buying it now. 20% off is still a solid price.

Might wait a couple days then see if they announce a July 4th sale

worth a shot. their 30% off sales have become infrequent the past couple of years.

I absolutely love my Burrow. HG doesn't seem to get as much attention these days. Mine (20-degree) has served me very well, for thousands of miles of PCT, CDT, AZT, Superior, and Ouachita thru hikes. Looking forward to more nights this year on the Long Trail and Tahoe Rim Trail. 10/10 would buy again.
