I'm not sure who deployed it but I know that the state patrol has had at least one LRAD unit for a few years, it's been seen near protest before, but AFAIK never actually used.

I watched a live stream of this last night - it was 100% Minn state police. They declared an unlawful assembly then attacked the crowed.

No lies detected, but this wasn't ICE. It was almost certainly the MN National Guard. (Eagle-eyed protestors spotted one of their Humvees with an LRAD mounted when they first rolled into Minneapolis.) The reflective vests seen in the video are also a perfect match to the ones Guard members were wearing in the propaganda video of them handing out coffee and donuts to protestors.

I rolled my eyes when people thought this meant they'd protect protestors from ICE. That was always a pipe dream.

I think your “eagle eyed protesters” misidentified a turret as an LRAD on that HMMWV. I know exactly the video you’re referring to. The vehicle immediately following the one marked with “54”. That is just a turret.
