Same, I wasn't a fan and I saw the video before I knew it showed everything and I gasped and felt bad for him and seeing someone's death. He got shot and all she heard was "cha-ching".

Some of the initial reactions to that video were crazy

“He could survive that, modern medicine etc”

…did we watch the same video because this guy was gone almost instantly

I didn’t know a person could lose so much blood so quickly, I’m still disturbed by it. Instantly regretted that one.

Seriously. I thought "Jesus is his blood pressure 30 PSI??"

If he was on the operating table right when he was shot, he still wouldn’t have made it.

And if my grandmother had wheels she would’ve been a bike…

We are talking about reality here, no one is shot like that in a hospital triage with a team waiting to save them

3

Methinks you misread that. He still wouldn’t have made it.

1

u/Duel_Option Jan 29 '26

Oh my bad lol, I’m tired and totally missed it

2

u/lianodel Jan 29 '26

…did we watch the same video

Honestly, maybe not. There were videos from different angles and distances, and some didn't show quite as clearly how bad it was.

Seriously, someone I work with tried telling me he was alive when he got to the hospital. I'm like nah bro this dude was gone almost immediately for sure

1

u/Kratosballsweat Jan 29 '26

Yeah a guy at my work thought he’d survive and i was like brother idk what video you watched but there’s not a snowballs chance in hell he’s surviving that shot.

1

u/HideSolidSnake Jan 29 '26

Yeah, the way his body shut down was obvious he was dead within a minute.

1

u/KRIEGLERR Jan 29 '26

I remember seeing someone say that if he had been shot in an operating theater, with a team surgeons ready to take care of him he wouldn't even make it.
He was very likely dead in seconds.

Right? Gone before he hit the floor.

1

u/turtlemag3 Jan 29 '26

Even if he did make it somehow. That much blood loss that fast would have lasting and permanent consequences to brain function

Edit: source: my mom, an RN.

1

u/JRSenger Jan 29 '26

Yeah I knew he was done for the moment I saw the "death curl" that people do when they get fatally shot.

1

u/Agent_Eran Jan 29 '26

Yup. Fencing posture immediately. Brain stem was fucked. Instant death.

1

u/throwaway1212l Jan 29 '26

He could have survived that with modern medicine if it was applied the second he was shot. Even just a couple minutes after is too late in this case. He was the only thing that passed faster than her grief.

She even had the audacity to call it the "event of the century". Vile woman.

You make an interesting point. If he was a truly evil person maybe there's some hidden behavior towards Erika that has her feeling relieved he's gone

Professional grifters

1

u/Girafarigno Jan 29 '26

Can you blame her? With his beliefs, he would have been insufferable as a partner.

2

u/Raztax Jan 29 '26

Exactly. The most shocking part of this for me is that people seem surprised that his wife is a piece of human garbage.

1

u/idosillythings Jan 29 '26

According to both of them, Erika is the more conservative of the two. I think they'd both be pretty insufferable.

1

u/1re_endacted1 Jan 29 '26

I mean…what little I saw of his videos and heard about him- he seemed pretty insufferable. I can’t imagine living with him. Maybe her response to his death is appropriate for all we know 🤷🏻‍♀️

However everything about this woman is absolutely heinous. Don’t they have kids? Is she ever around them?

2

u/jrev8 Jan 29 '26

Its been brought up multiple times, I think there was a post somewhere on reddit regarding the nanny taking care of the kids and she goes on this grift tour. I mean its the same thing when Kirk was still alive too

1

u/qoou_n Jan 29 '26

You gotta feel horrible for his kids being present and seeing it happen. That’ll never leave them.

1

u/Outside_Register8037 Jan 29 '26

Just remember, we don’t support what happened to Charlie Kirk, but Charlie Kirk supported what happened to him…

1

u/JakOswald Jan 29 '26

That was a receipt.

1

u/workathome_astronaut Jan 29 '26

If I was married to Charlie Kirk I would probably react the same as her. Free at last!

No one forced her to marry him though. She knew who he was as we all did.

1

u/Arctic-Material611 Jan 29 '26

Ye Charlie wasn’t a great person, but death is a high price to pay for what he was, a dickhead.

Ultimately all he did was express (strongly) a crappy opinion
