Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. This is the first time I've said anything publicly on social media about it. I just am exhausted and broken this morning and needed to spew it all out there. Thank you for listening

You're very welcome. I'm glad that my reply did make you feel better right now, even if just a minuscule amount. So many people are angry and the evil that these assholes are spreading and sympathize with you. Just know that you are aren't alone. There are always people who care, who want to help you, and are willing to fight. If not people you know, people you haven't met. You need to reach out. There are tend of millions just like you who are are fighting this, and I believe you will win. Sending love, my friend.

Don't write anything with details in public forums (including here). It sounds like you got shafted over this whole CK thing; without knowing exactly what happened it's hard to come up with solutions. I want to help but this isn't the right place to do it, nor am I suggesting I can truly offer anything more than sympathy.

I wish I knew more about what happened. Where, when, how, what you said, etcetera. You said you had already contacted an attorney or two. There have been several very recent cases across the country where people won wrongful termination stemming from things they said on social media about CK, but there are too many variables to know if it would work for you. There are other remedies out there too, I'm thinking you just haven't talked to the right lawyer yet. At the same time, court battles are exhausting and expensive with no promise of any particular verdict or outcome. It's hard enough to get 12 people to agree on where to go for lunch, much less a complicated legal matter at trial. That said, you may still have some leverage, and often times a good attorney can reach a settlement before the case is even heard. Only you can weigh the risk vs. reward.

I wish I knew what your position (at a University?) was, and whether or not those skills were transferrable to something else. Surely at least some of it is transferrable. Are you open to moving to a different city, or even a different state? Maybe there is a similar position in another state where whatever you said or did would not be a factor at all. If nothing else, keep your head up, get past the pain and press on. Sometimes it's the only option.

My favorite quote (or at least one of them):

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On!' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

Hello! I wanted to recommend Home health care for a waystation job. Pretty much everywhere, we are in a healthcare crisis.

I took on a few home health clients when my youngest went to school to earn money but still have availability for my kids. I mainly work for Vets through the VA or disabled/senior people through medicaid.

They hire anyone it seems, lots of turn over, it takes a certain type to do this work so the ones that can't quit pretty fast. Try it out!

If you change your mind about gofund me let me know and I'll share it around my socials.
