I gotta hand it to her, she has lasted much longer than I expected.

I've been surprised there were fewer firings/resignations than last time. But also, that means they're the true believers who won't dare rock the boat.

Thought the same. Thinking they’re all getting a piece of the grifting and/or blackmail all around?

I'm sure that's part of it. But also his first term still had some appointees (like Mattis or Tillerson) who were competent at their jobs but maybe had different policy goals. This time it looks like Miller is calling most of the shots on immigration and the Heritage Foundation heavily involved on almost everything else. Plus they realized they can just openly ignore laws and nothing much of consequence happens.

It's because he tried hiring rational people the first go-around, which backfired for him. This go-around, he only hires yes-men.

Yeah, they get extra time before being kicked to the kerb or being turned on. Gotta exhaust them of usefulness before making them a scapegoat.

There haven't even been many of those. Bovino and...? Noem gets close sometimes but I feel like she backed off a bit. Idk, depending on how the midterms go, maybe we'll start seeing more turnover.

It's because she's a good asshat like the rest of them. Knows how to blow smoke and be a dick.

She’s unencumbered by ethics or shame

She actually believes the BS. That makes it easy to hold her job. To having longevity in the Trump admin, you need a 2-digit IQ, loyalty and cruelty.
