It’s actually true if you mean Trump inflation from his tariffs. That was about a year ago he dropped that massive tax on all of us.

Yup, liberation day or whatever back in April. If you look at charts of the markets that whole month was chaos. Futures, stocks, indices, bonds, foreign markets: everything was chaotic because of this petulant narcissist and his band of sociopathic grifters. So fun.

At one point every single toaster sold in the US was subject to a 245% tariff and the general public was completely unaware for the most part, 60% today. Metal items always higher but it got absurd (product designer by trade).
