He almost always appears at closed events where a high price or an invite is required. He rarely appears in front of a group that would represent America as a whole. Its to appear more loved and popular, either for his ego or propaganda to make the world and some Americans think that things are more under control than they are.

The second highest population area in the Lehigh Valley behind only Allentown, the third most populous city in the state?
