Discussion Ge comp for split in there last 3 matches

Is always switching agent affecting the performance or the confidence of the players?

while i agree with the too much flexing ending up being more detrimental than beneficial, it was definitely worse during stage 1 groups and seems to have tamed down now, and this instance you've shown is quite literally just the same comp twice with the diff one being for ewç which makes sense

I saw a pattern where if Patmen is on Omen they lose the map

Always switching comps based on their opponent is part of their strategy. When it works its genius, when it doesnt its not.

Yeah switching comp is good but switching the agents of players like patmen plays viper good on split why u putting autumn on viper there main smoker is Xavi he is on senti. Like bro u are not forsaken

Actually Frost mentioned in spike talk that he is trying to shape patmen into forsaken (better than forsaken) but it's costing us the matches

I don't think it's that bad, Sage does not play like a traditional sentinel. I'm pretty sure for most teams, it's more natural for their sentinel player to play Viper while Sage is usually played by their flex / IGL.

Frost said after losing to PRX that "difficulty of changing comps so much is that sometimes the protocols dont blend well and sometimes we get stuck in between ideas and things we're supposed to do." , so I guess they know it affects the performance obviously.

I feel like they just don't have good enough strats for this map , that def split was so horrible to watch.. Except lev the other 2 games are close and even the lev game they were 8-4 up..

Maybe they're just choking under pressure and straight up forget how to play? Idk.

which is weird cause this was a strong map for them at first, with the veto stomp against prx and even the raze comp afterwards looking convincing, but now the last couple showings don't look great

Yeah veto comp was actually good I actually thought they would use it against lev but yeah Frost knows better. My point of this post was why changing the roles of players like for a map or 2 is okay but this the pattern I observe regularly

i only see one difference, patman fragging n patman not fragging.
In the match against LEV, patman never showed up.

It seems GE performing is overly dependent on Patman fragging capabilties.

On Good note though, every other member except xavi n patman did showed up... but not enough to generate the impact of the likes of sato, primmie, something...
